"Inter-fjordal Hoopla" was commissioned by a collector in Gloucester, Massachusetts. My patron requested that I build a larger piece around the Southeast Alaska landscape at the center of piece, integrating Arts and Crafts-style motifs; hence the upright architectural elements.
