Six hundred and fifty feet below the boulder-scattered rim of the Rio Grande gorge, the remnants of large pinon trees catch the light and frame the rapid passage of the great river through high desert canyons. This painting was shown at my 2013 solo exhibition at Pippin Contemporary in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
